Customizing a theme

Using themes in PowerPoint is useful because it offers fonts, colors and formatting prepared. It saves a lot of your time. But sometimes you would like to modify themes. Take a look how to do it.

  1. Go to ribbon to the Design tab.
  2. In the Themes section click on the arrow to view more themes.
  3. Choose one which you like the most.
  4. From the Variants section choose one which suits you.
  5. In Variants section click the arrow.
  6. Here you can customize Font, Background, Color and Effects.
  7. Go back to the Themes section and click the arrow.
  8. Choose Save Current Theme to save your work.

Note: Next time you will be able to use this theme.

How to embed custom font?

You may use a custom font in Power Point.

  1. Prepare or download the font.
  2. Install it on your computer.
  3. In Power Point click File and choose Options.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Tick Embed fonts in the file checkbox.
  6. If presentation size doesn’t matter to you choose second option Embed all characters.

Since now you are able to use your own font in your presentations.
