Motion Paths

Motion Paths is the way of animation of Clip Arts.

  1. Go to the ribbon to the Insert tab.
  2. Click Online Pictures and insert one.
  3. Go back to the ribbon and click Animations tab.
  4. Select Add Animation button.
  5. Go on the bottom to the Motion Paths section.
  6. Click Lines button.
  7. Line appeared close to your Clip Art. Green dot is the place where animation begins. The red one is the finish place.
  8. Draw the motion path with your mouse.

Tip: You can also use another Motion Paths. Custom Path is the interesting one as well.

Inserting Excel Spreadsheet

There are 2 ways to insert Excel Spreadsheet to Power Point:

  • Insert Spreadsheet using Insert Table:
  1. Go to the ribbon to the Insert tab.
  2. Click Table and choose Excel Spreadsheet.
  3. Draw the Spreadsheet inside your slide.
  • Insert Spreadsheet using Insert Object:
  1. Go to the ribbon to the Insert tab.
  2. Click Table and choose Object.
  3. Insert Object dialog box pops up. Choose Microsoft Excel Worksheet from the list.
  4. Worksheet inserts itself into your slide.

How to wrap text around an picture?

There are 3 ways to do it:

  1. Create indents manually with Space bar or Tab button.
  2. Insert multiple text boxes.
  3. Insert a Word document.

The easiest and least professional is the first option:

  • Right-click picture
  • Choose Send to back
  • Press Space bar or Tab key to unhide picture and wrap text around the picture
  • Repeat it until text will be looking nice

How to view a list of animations currently on the slide?

In PowerPoint 2013 application you can easily view a list of all animations and format them.

  1. Select your slide by clicking it.
  2. Go to the ribbon to the Animations tab.
  3. Click Animation Pane button.
  4. The list of all animations currently on the slide pops up on the right side of the screen.

Tip: You can modify order and speed of animation and ways how it start.
